A crawler crane earns its place on two counts: it spreads its weight over tracks instead of outrigger pads, and it can travel with a suspended load. That combination is why piling rigs, refinery shutdowns, power plants and wind farms keep coming back to the class even though the machine has to be shipped in pieces.

What we supply

  • Lattice boom crawlers, 50 to 600 tonnes — the highest capacity-at-radius in the fleet, with fixed and luffing jib configurations.
  • Telescopic crawlers, 50 to 130 tonnes — faster to rig, useful where the job changes configuration daily.
  • Duty-cycle and free-fall machines for piling, diaphragm walling and dragline work.
  • Superlift and ring attachments for heavy erection where radius, not weight, is the constraint.

Ground bearing pressure comes first

Most crawler incidents are ground failure, not crane failure. Before we quote a machine we want the load, the radius, the configuration and the ground data. We return the calculated ground bearing pressure with it, so the mat or piling requirement is priced into the job rather than discovered on the day.

Mobilisation and assembly

  • Transport planning by axle load and route survey — a 400 tonne crawler is 20+ trailer loads.
  • Assembly on site with an assist crane, boom made up to the agreed configuration.
  • Rigging check, load test and functional commissioning before handover.
  • Dismantling and demobilisation as a defined scope, not an afterthought.

Parts and field service

We hold track pads, rollers, hoist rope, and hydraulic and slew components for the models we supply. Breakdown calls are answered in under four hours and we aim to have an engineer on site within 48 — with an AMC in place, sooner.
