A tower crane is the one machine a high-rise project cannot work around. It goes up before the structure and comes down after it, and everything in between is scheduled against its hook. That makes selection, erection and uptime a programme decision rather than a plant decision — which is how we treat it.
What we supply
- Flat-top cranes — no cathead, so two cranes can overlap at close vertical spacing. The default on congested city sites.
- Hammerhead (saddle jib) cranes — the workhorse configuration where site space allows, with the widest range of jib lengths.
- Luffing jib cranes — for plots where the jib may not oversail a neighbour's airspace.
- Jib radius from 40 to 75 m, tip loads from 1.3 to 3.5 tonnes, maximum capacities from 6 to 16 tonnes.
Erection, climbing and dismantling
We do not just deliver the sections. Our scope covers foundation and anchor design review, base fixing, erection with a suitable mobile crane, tie-in to the structure, internal or external climbing as the building rises, and dismantling at the end. Each stage is signed off before the crane is handed back to the site.
Certification and compliance
- Statutory third-party load testing and proof-load certification at erection and after every climb.
- Anemometer, zoning and anti-collision systems commissioned and set to the site drawing.
- Documentation packaged for the principal contractor, the insurer and the factory inspector.
- Structural inspection of mast sections, slew ring and hoist ropes on a defined interval.
Support for the whole programme
Tower cranes fail expensively because a stopped crane stops the job. Annual maintenance contracts cover scheduled servicing, wear-part replacement and priority breakdown response, and we hold hoist rope, brake and contactor stock for the models we supply.
